Dr John is a Research Fellow at De Montfort University, a Chartered Building Services Engineer with an MSc in Energy and Sustainable Development and a PhD in homeowner decision-making around energy efficiency. As an experienced surveyor and systems designer he has practical experience of what works and what does not. He specialises in older homeowners but has helped people of all ages over the years. John has over 30 years’ experience in home energy solutions and billing, and is committed to improving the lives and health of people by improving their home environment through energy efficiency. Dr Daniel Kerr PhD MSc BEng
Dr Dan is a Research Fellow at De Montfort University, and has over 15 years' experience in sustainability academia, having previously worked at UCL-Energy Institute and the Centre for Environment and Sustainability at the University of Surrey, working on numerous UKRI-funded projects at these institutions.
A passionate advocate for sustainability, Dan is leveraging extensive experience in energy decision-making and behaviour change to realise the significant health co-benefits of sustainable living. With a specialty in mini-grids and electrification modelling Dan brings the detailed coding and analysis skills needed to solve the toughest challenges.
